Safer Recruitment
The care, nurture and respectful pastoral ministry of all people are extremely important to us. We aim to establish safe, caring communities which provide a loving environment where there is a culture of informed vigilance of the dangers of abuse. In line with Church of England safer recruitment principles and Diocesan safeguarding guidance, we carefully select and train our volunteers and staff, including requiring them to have a Disclosure and Barring service (DBS) report if their role deems that necessary.
